Holla!

I’m currently a 23 year old girl, from a city where no one bothers to know the person next to them, aka Mumbai/मुंबई. And since I like to know more about people’s lives, and I also don’t wanna come across as a creep that walks up to strangers and starts chatting her life story with them, I read.

I identify as a she/her.

I’ve been reading ever since I discovered novels in 3rd grade. (I grew up with Enid Blyton and R.L. Stine, and I have over 250 Goosebumps books with me, even today). What started as a hobby soon turned into a passion and then lately into a full-blown addiction.

I like a lot of different kinds of stories, and don’t really restrict myself to one genre. But that being said, I found that I’ve outgrown the YA novels, nothing against them, I just don’t really enjoy them anymore.

I like HEA’s obviously, but I like sad endings more. I would love to cry over a book, but sadly so far only a few have come close to getting any tears out of me.

I adore poetry- both the reading and the writing part.

I absolutely love dark themes like abduction, non-consent, revenge, etc. Give me a dark romance and I’d practically cuddle up with it.

All the graphics on this blog containing whacky fonts, black cats farting hearts, and weird alien like spindly cartoon girls are made by me. So if you didn’t guess it, I’m good with graphics and web designing, and if you want some free consultation/help hit me up on my mail!

I started this blog on 2nd of January, 2017, because I was like “Bruh, I need a place where I can rant about books, and don’t really get sued by authors” lol. So that is what this is- a place where I rant about the books I read. OK, now that is the cop out explanation for this blog, the real one is that I was getting bored, and I wanted to make a blog that was fully functional, and looked badass. One week, dozens of discarded designs, and hundreds of hours of thinking about the name, and voila! There you have it! This blog! And then I was like “Dude! It’s looking so rad, I don’t wanna just leave it like that. Maybe I can make this into a BOOK BLOG!!”

So there you have it. The brilliant history of how this blog came to be. And now you’re questioning your life choices for reading this whole thing.
