Flawed- Tracy Wolff

About this book:

The bestselling Ethan Frost series introduces a tantalizing new hero—and the broken woman only he can save. Discover why Beth Kery once declared that readers of Tracy Wolff will “fall in love under the spell of a master.”

When Tori Reed loses everything, he sets her free.

I told myself I’d never trust Miles Girard, no matter how brilliant or sexy he may be. His sister, Chloe—Ethan Frost’s wife—is my best friend, but I know just how low Miles will stoop to get what he wants. Now he’s the last thing I want: my boss.

Growing up, I had it all—except for the sense that I belonged. And when a mistake from my past surfaces in the press, my parents don’t hesitate to cut me off.

But surprisingly, Miles offers me a helping hand.

Before I know it, our relationship turns unprofessional in the hottest ways. Of course, he still drives me crazy. But when I’m dealt the ultimate blow, Miles is there for me. And maybe he’s the one I’ve been looking for all along.

What I think?

Arrgh man, I am so sad to see this series end. This is one of most favorite angst series, the arrival of this book in the mail was definitely as nostalgic as it was exciting.

Let’s just say I love Chloe and Ethan. So naturally when I heard that there was a 4th book, I was over the moon because I was so not ready to see them both go.

But when I further heard that this book was all Tori and Miles, I was—

bye bye mind.

So naturally, I had to read it, because..

And I loved it. The entire basis of the story was just perfect.

Tormented hero?
Heroine with a bad past?
Witty witty banter?
Hot hot sex?

This book begins about a year after Exposed ends, and Tori still pretty much hates Miles’s guts for what he did (or didn’t do in this case) to Chloe. But at the same time, she’s very attracted to him- because he is Miles, Chloe’s terribly handsome, and insanely smart brother. And in an attempt to run away from him she runs right into trouble- the very big, very public, very scandalous, and very embarrassing kind. There’s a sex tape that gets released by an up-and-coming actor who does it solely because she did not sleep with him.

Tori gets disowned, and stripped of everything by her family, thrown out of her own house in nothing but a clothes, and no shoes.

And Tori! She’s so much more than just Chloe Girard’s best-friend. We get to see the person behind all those colors and outrageous clothing and snarky remarks. We get to see the strong woman determined to stand up, and fight for herself. The incredible person that forgave and accepted Miles, when he couldn’t do that himself. She was just amazing. I’ve always loved Tori, and after this book I more than loved her- I respected her.

Then comes in Miles, protecting Tori from her family, the media, and mostly from herself.

Can we just please stop and talk about Miles?

He walked away from his million dollar company without a second thought when he came to know of how his parents used his sister’s blood money as the start-up capital.
He relentlessly worked to get Tori’s sex-tape taken down the net, with the full knowledge that his actions might not be appreciated or even accepted. He did that for a girl he thought hated him.
Then he incarcerated the bastard who leaked the tape, and dug up info on him just so Tori could sleep knowing that he was in jail.
And he loved her. Unconditionally, without any clauses! How many people could do that after such a public embarrassment?

Let me just say that I love him almost more than I love Ethan.
Because he was so damn smart.
Plus he was very handsome.
But mostly because he was so damn smart lol.

I certainly couldn’t help but nod my head at all the social topics picked up here. One of the biggest being the Gender inequality between men and women who enjoy having sex. It is the glaring reality of the media and society- the guy is the stud, and the girl is the slut. I was literally clapping when Miles turned the tables turned here in the end.

But seriously though, Tracy Wolff might be one of my most favorite authors of the alpha-billionaire genre. This book was a fantastic conclusion to a fantastic series. I am going to miss it so much♥

“This time when he lowers his mouth to mine, I don’t try to fight him. Instead I give myself up- to the moment , to him, and to the knowledge that just because we’re flawed, just because we’re broken, doesn’t mean we can’t be perfect together. And that is all that matters.”

About the author:

Tracy Wolff collects books, English degrees and lipsticks and has been known to forget where—and sometimes who—she is when immersed in a great novel. At six she wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—and at seven she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. Now an English professor at her local community college, she writes romances that run the gamut from contemporary to paranormal to erotic suspense.

And for all of those who want the unedited version:
Tracy Wolff lives with four men, teaches writing to local college students and spends as much time as she can manage immersed in worlds of her own creation. Married to the alpha hero of her dreams for twelve years, she is the mother of three young sons who spend most of their time trying to make her as crazy as possible.
